The Mission

In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus says19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.

We take this command from our Lord as an urgent plea to reach out to the multitude of souls that are slipping into eternity without the assurance of eternal life with Him. That’s why we support global missions, it is our obligation to bring the good news of salvation through repentance, turning to God through Jesus Christ to all people no matter what race or what country they are in.  We joyfully and eagerly working to fulfill this need through Jesus Christ.

Our Pastor has gone on a mission trip to Bolivia  There is nothing more true than the fact that our every day lives are an active local mission field! We believe that when you walk out of the front doors of our church, you are entering into YOUR mission field. We, only through and because of Jesus Christ, are living examples of Christ to those around us. We are a congregation of disciples, learning, living, and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in our every day lives!

Join us every Saturday at 11:30a.m. to go out into the community as we open air preach (the way Jesus and the Apostles did it).

We also believe in the power of prayer and are committed to praying for the Woodland Acres Community every day in our daily prayer, in prayer walks, and as we drive through the neighborhood as well.

It is our CO-MISSION to not commit the great sin of OMISSION and not do what we are called to do.  We are not called to bring people to church.  We are called to bring the Church to the people and share the truth of the gospel!
